I'm sure he didn't freeze in the door of the last big jump, made a soft landing in the correct DZ, and found many of his buddies waiting for him.

I have a Cpl. Charles E. Nau on my DSC list. I have an article from the Static Line about DSC recipiants but it does not go into what they did for the award.
