Hi all,

Just now registered for this forum, so a short introduction is in order. I'm 34 years old, living in Amsterdam and while my main interest is the history, culture and religion of the Native American Lakota, I am also a WW2 101st airborne enthousiast. Just recently I made a 'side step' to the WW2 82nd airborne when I began reading Nordyke's tome 'All American All The Way' and since then have been wanting to gather as much info as possible on the Normandy and Holland campaigns, with special interest in the Waal crossing.

So, as a relative newbie to WW2 82nd, you won't see me post a lot of answers, but questions I do have!

Last weekend I travelled to the Nijmegen area and took some photo's, which I might post in the near future on this forum, if that is okay.

Looking forward to enhance my knowledge of the WW2 82nd through this forum!

Carlo,

Welcome, feel free to post your photos. I know Phil Nordyke visits here from time to time so I am sure he will be happy to see his book has brought some interest in the 82nd.

Regards,

Jim McNamara
